Meet Dr. Manish Sojitra DC

Dr. Manish Sojitra has been practicing chiropractic in New Jersey since 2009, and the approach he has built over those 17-plus years looks nothing like what most patients have experienced before.

How Dr. Manish Found Chiropractic - and Why It Became Personal

Dr. Sojitra’s connection to chiropractic became personal long before he built his practice. After a serious college car accident left the Rutgers tennis captain dealing with a pelvic injury, persistent pain, and declining performance, chiropractic care helped him return to the court stronger than before, improving not only his pain but also his coordination and overall function.

Years later, as a practicing chiropractor, he faced an even bigger challenge when an 11.5mm L5-S1 disc herniation left him unable to sleep, dress himself, or pick up his young daughter. Choosing spinal decompression and chiropractic care over surgery, he reduced the herniation significantly over time and regained his quality of life. That experience now shapes the approach he brings to patients dealing with complex, chronic, and disc-related conditions.

Manish's Training and Credentials

Dr. Sojitra completed his pre-med Bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University, Newark in 200 where he served as tennis captain and earned multiple academic and athletic honors and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences near Chicago in 2008. He then built a decade-long practice in South Elgin, Illinois before returning to his home state of New Jersey.

His post-graduate training spans a wide range of techniques, technologies, and clinical specializations:

What Dr. Manish Specializes In

Dr. Sojitra does not fit neatly into a single chiropractic category and that is intentional. The patients who benefit most are the ones who have already tried the single-category approach and are still looking for answers. His specializations reflect 17-plus years of deliberate study across chiropractic and regenerative medicine.

Zone Technique and nervous system analysis:

Zone Technique is the clinical foundation for everything Dr. Sojitra does. By palpating six points on the skull, he identifies which systems are under stress and adjusts the corresponding spinal segments to help the brain reset and heal – the approach he has found most consistently effective after testing nearly every major chiropractic technique. Disc conditions and spinal decompression

Disc pain is the clinical center of this practice. Dr. Sojitra has treated disc herniations, bulging discs, and sciatica with the DRX9000 since the early years of his career – and lived through an 11.5mm herniation himself. He uses the DRX9000 for lumbar cases and the Chattanooga Triton DTS for cervical cases, often combined with Zone Technique and laser. Learn more about spinal decompression.

SoftWave therapy and regenerative technology

Dr. Sojitra was one of fewer than 100 providers nationwide when SoftWave first became available, and among the first 15 in the country to offer EMTT using the Storz Magnetolith. Both support tissue regeneration at a cellular level and are regularly combined with chiropractic for conditions that have not responded to adjustments alone. Learn more about SoftWave therapy.

Cranial Facial Release

Dr. Sojitra is the only provider in New Jersey trained to deliver CFR at this level. He attends the advanced CFR conference every year and currently has the highest level certification – elite level 3. He is truly among the first in the country to reach those levels. TMJ and cranial work

Dr. Sojitra addresses TMJ through Zone Technique, specific joint adjustments, intraoral work, cranial suture mobilization, and SOT pelvic blocks – regularly demonstrating how pelvic floor dysfunction contributes to jaw restriction, a connection most TMJ patients have never been shown. Full-body extremity adjusting

Dr. Sojitra adjusts every joint in the body – shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, knees, ankles, feet, and ribs – making him one of the few chiropractors in central New Jersey who treats extremities as a primary part of care. Learn more about extremity and joint pain treatment.
