What Cranial Facial Release Does
At the center of the skull sits the sphenoid bone, a butterfly-shaped structure that twelve cranial nerves pass through or around. When its position is disrupted, it causes neurological dysfunction, restricted breathing, impaired cerebrospinal fluid flow, and wide-ranging symptoms. While standard chiropractic adjusts the spine, targeting the lower 20% of the nervous system, CFR addresses the remaining 80% – the cranial nerves, cranial bones, sphenoid, and nasal passages influencing brain function and breathing.
Small, specialized balloons are briefly inflated inside the nasal passages to mobilize the cranial bones and sutures, providing a release unachievable by other means. Combined with intraoral cranial work and SOT technique, a CFR series reaches the brain and nervous system directly. Dr. Sojitra is the only provider in New Jersey delivering this procedure at this level of training, attending advanced CFR conferences annually and completing the highest level of official certification directly from the founder – elite level 3.
