About Princeton Spine Disc and Chiropractic

Princeton Spine Disc and Chiropractic was built on a simple conviction: the body heals best when the brain and nervous system are functioning the way they are supposed to. Dr. Manish Sojitra has spent 15-plus years assembling the tools, techniques, and clinical insight to make that happen for patients throughout the Princeton area.

How Princeton Spine Disc and Chiropractic Serves Princeton

There is no shortage of chiropractic options in New Jersey. What is harder to find is a practice that goes beyond adjusting where the pain is and actually asks why it is there in the first place. That is the question Dr. Sojitra has been trying to answer since the beginning of his career and with more urgency after his own disc herniation forced him to look at the body differently.

The practice he has built in Princeton reflects everything that search produced. Zone Technique provides the neurological foundation for every care plan. Advanced technology – DRX9000 spinal decompression, SoftWave therapy, oxygen chambers, EMTT, cold laser, NeuFit, and Cranial Facial Release is layered on top based on what each patient’s specific case requires. The result is a level of individualized care that most patients in this area have simply not encountered before.

Meet Dr. Manish Sojitra

Dr. Manish Sojitra’s path to chiropractic began after a college car accident left him with a pelvic injury that chiropractic care helped resolve, restoring both his pain levels and athletic performance as a Rutgers University tennis captain and MVP. He earned his pre-med degree from Rutgers in 2005 and his doctorate from National University of Health Sciences in 2008, later building a successful practice in Illinois before returning to New Jersey. A major turning point came when he personally experienced a severe L5-S1 disc herniation, leading him through his own recovery journey with spinal decompression and chiropractic care. That experience helped shape the clinical approach he brings to patients today, combining advanced training, personal insight, and a strong focus on non-surgical solutions.

A Care Approach Built Over 15 Years - Not Borrowed From One

Dr. Sojitra’s care approach was developed through more than 15 years of clinical experience, advanced training, and hands-on refinement rather than relying on a single technique for every patient. Built around Zone Technique as its neurological foundation, his method integrates therapies such as spinal decompression, SoftWave, EMTT, NeuFit, laser treatment, and more based on the needs of each individual case. The result is a highly personalized care model designed for patients seeking a more tailored approach, particularly those who have not found lasting relief through standard treatment protocols.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

Princeton Spine Disc and Chiropractic runs a two-day new patient process. Day 1 is entirely evaluation. Day 2 is when findings are reviewed and care begins. That structure is deliberate. Dr. Sojitra will not recommend a care plan until he understands what is actually driving the problem.

Day 1 typically runs 45 to 60 minutes and covers a detailed consultation, Zone Technique neurological analysis, orthopedic and palpation exam, and depending on what he observes digital motion analysis X-rays, medical-grade thermography, and a Nerve Express autonomic nervous system assessment. Day 2 covers the full report of findings, treatment recommendations, and the start of care for patients ready to proceed.

Insurance and Payment

Princeton Spine Disc and Chiropractic operates as an out-of-network practice, allowing Dr. Sojitra to build care plans around clinical needs rather than insurance limitations. Because many therapies we offer like spinal decompression, SoftWave, EMTT, cold laser, NeuFit, and Cranial Facial Release, are not typically covered by insurance. The practice focuses on providing access to its full range of treatment options regardless of letting insurance dictate what services we offer. Payment plans and financial details are reviewed before care begins, and patients with PPO coverage may be eligible for partial reimbursement through superbill submission.
